Hockley is a large, thriving village located in South Essex near Southend-on-Sea. It has a population of around 10,000.
The Hockley Parish Plan Group has 14 members and the Chairman is David Fryer-Kelsey.
The purpose of HockleyParishPlanGroup.co.uk is to provide another method by which the public can keep uptodate with the progress of the Hockley Parish Plan.
We hope also to provide various items of useful local information.

Five informal meetings have been held with residents at which they shared with us their likes and dislikes about Hockley, their ideas and actions for how they would like to see Hockley develop in the future.
Now it is the turn of the Business community to voice their opinions. Also we are listening to the Youth of Hockley - without their input the Plan is nothing.
