Latest News Questionnaire - A chance for you to have your say on the future planning of Hockley Good news - the culmination of all our work - the resident’s and business questionnaires are being printed and will be distributed during the week commencing 26th March. We are asking the respondents to complete and return the questionnaire by 20th April. As it is essential that we get a reasonable number of replies to make the results representative and bearing in mind the inertia of the average person, it would be a great help if you could contact your family, friends and neighbours and persuade them to make the effort and return the questionnaire. Be bold - go and knock on every door in your street - tell them this is their only chance to make their feelings known. Remind them that they can enter the Prize Draw and win a Sony Mini system or a dozen bottles of wine. They can use the enclosed Freepost envelope or the various collection boxes we have placed around Hockley. And don’t forget to complete your own form!!! We already have a number of Action Points from our workshops and so without waiting for the results of the full questionnaire we are making an application to the Community Planning Fund to enable us to start work on them immediately. This will serve as an illustration to our helpers and to the Community in general that we mean business and that the Parish Plan will not be just a wish list but will form the basis of real progress.
